Classroom Rules:
- Students will remain in their assigned seats unless they ask permission or are directed to move.
- Students will raise their hands and wait quietly to be called on
- Students will treat others and their things with respect
- This includes the teacher, the other students, the teacher's supplies, the supplies and property of other students, and the supplies and property of the school.
- Students will not have candy, food, drinks or gum in class.
- Students will not use "beauty" products in class.
Failure to comply with any of the above rules will result in a call home and or a detention.
Classroom Expectations:
- Students are expected to enter the classroom in an orderly fashion ready to learn.
- Students are expected to complete all classwork, homework, tests and quizzes to the best of their ability and in a timely fashion.
- Students are expected to follow the rituals and routines of the classroom, academy, school, and the code of conduct set forth by the BPS.
Laptop Rules:
- Fist-45 /Focus
- When students hear this direction they are expected to close the laptop screen to a 45 degree angle and focus on the teacher for further instruction.
- Students will only open programs as directed by the teacher.
- Students will only use programs for educational purposes.
Failure to comply with any of these rules will result in the loss of laptop privileges for a period of time. Continuous infractions will lead to the loss of laptop privileges indefinitely.
